Our Mission

PneumoStrong is a digital advocacy campaign dedicated to raising awareness about pneumothorax and providing support for those recovering from it. The goal is to create a space where patients, families, and healthcare professionals can connect through shared experience, education, and empathy.

This campaign began after a personal experience with a spontaneous pneumothorax and the realization of how little awareness and guidance existed. What started as one story has grown into a movement to inform, empower, and support others through their recovery journey.

In May 2024, my left lung collapsed due to scarring from pneumonia I had as a child. I spent a week in the hospital with a chest tube and went through a long and emotional recovery process. That experience changed how I see health, patience, and healing.
